Excellent beginning resource and activity to any portraits topic, or as an ice breaker to year eight pupils into art, to encourage them to loosen up and have fun with the art work and to understand that there are no right or wrong answers in art & design. This is a three page resource which guides students to think about various environmental issues and to design a stamp in Hundertwassers style, taking inspiration from Hundertwassers own stamp designs. There is a research page with some inspiration from Hundertwassers own stamps designs and a stamp template which the students can draw straight onto. Also included are a range of Environmental slogans which could be used to spark classroom discussions on Environmental issues as well as use in the creative designs. I have used this many times in school with some fabulous designs from the students.
